Designing My Contents Page

This is the first stage of my designing process for my contents page. I have used the same font for the title as I did for my title on my front cover so the magazine has its own house style. I have also used the same background for the title as I did for my front cover to also add to the house style. The rest of the background for my contents page uses the same grain effect as the background for my title but I have just used a different colour. I used blue to go with my colour scheme for the magazine which is pink, purple and blue. At first I thought it might look a bit over powering but I think it will appeal to my target audience. Also the contents page needs to stand out from other pages and the use of colours does this.

I have now added my 3 images to my contents page. The one image is of a table and it is the first five artists in the UK top 40. This isn't definitely where the photos are going to be placed. I have also added a sub-heading to the contents page to make it look more like a magazine contents page.

I have change the background of my contents page as when I started to add some text it was difficult to read it. I have stuck to my colour scheme and I have used a gradient colour instead of having just a plain block of colour.

My contents page is now complete. I have added borders around my images to make them stand out. I have also added borders around the subheadings to make them stand out too.
